Studio Bee is a project studio in Zurich’s Kreis 4 for independent work with sound and image. The space offers a quiet, acoustically optimized environment with precise monitoring and a high-resolution, color-accurate display.
The setup is simple: no computer is provided, so you can work in your own familiar environment. Bring your own device, plug it in, and start working right away.
The studio can be booked on a day-use basis. Introductions as well as sessions on music production, sound design, and software or hardware workflows are available on request.
Fireface Audio Interface, Monitor Control & Connection Panel: RME Fireface UCX II combined with the Genelec 9320A reference controller. Stable drivers, flexible routing via TotalMix FX and precise AD/DA conversion. Hardware-based monitor control allows switching between 2.1, 5.1 and 4.1 setups. A clearly labeled connection panel lets you plug in your device via USB, RCA or HDMI. No complicated setup - just connect and start working.
Genelec 8330 with subwoofer (7350A): Active nearfield monitoring system with integrated DSP and GLM room calibration. Precisely measured and aligned to the room for a highly linear, translation-reliable listening environment.
Eizo ColorEdge CS2730: 27″ display with accurate color reproduction and even illumination. Ideal for editing and post-production. Connection via USB-C or HDMI.
